Week 1 results below. Was a tough first week and there wasn’t too many good scores. Greens being aerated didn’t help. Tanner did a great job with some of the upgrades in the off-season and I’m sure we’re all wondering how #16 is going to play with its changes.
I got a few questions about how the new Quota system is going to work this year. Firstly, our Quota’s are not going to be set for the first few weeks. We’re going to be using scores from last year to include in the quota calculation for the first few weeks of this year. Second, we’re modifying how we calculated it. We are now taking a player’s last six weeks of play and looking at their scores. We’re then going to eliminate the highest and lowest scores, leaving a player with four rounds. We’re going to take those four rounds. So in Week 2, we’re going to take you score from Week 1 in 2017 and your last 5 rounds in 2016. Week 3 would be 2 rounds in 2017, 4 rounds in 2016 and so on….
