A quick reminder on three points:
- Makeups – El Commish has given the league until the start of play on Week 13 (7/18) to have all make-ups completed by this time. If a match is not played by the deadline, it will go in the books as a 1-1 tie regardless of the backstory.
- July 4th – There is no formal league play that night, so start talking with your opponent about playing that match
- Quotas – Given that folks like to either play matches early/late and mid-week, its good to reiterate how the quota system works. It’s based on your last 6 matches played (each match has a timestamp on it) with highest and lowest scores thrown out. When El Commish prints out the scorecards, its based on the latest and greatest numbers. Given that we can’t recalculate the quotas in real-time, there will be a lag on when they update/refresh.
- If someone plays a makeup early at say 3 pm, what’s printed on the cards can be assumed to be correct. However, when those players go to play their regular match at 5 pm, what’s printed on the cards can be assumed to not be correct. The quotas would be recalculated for the early match before entering the regular match for both players
- If someone plays a makeup after at say 6 pm, what’s printed on the cards can be assumed to not be correct. Similar to the above, their quotas would be recalculated after the regular match at 4pm for both players.
- If someone does a double match, what’s printed on the cards be assumed to be correct. It’s extremely important to note that a double match took place on the cards to avoid improper quota calculations.
